Amrapali sets up help desk for home buyers

Realty firm Amrapali said it has set up a help desk for 13 housing projects to address the grievances of home buyers.

Amrapali is in crisis after residents of housing society ‘Sapphire’ in Noida started social media campaign against the builder earlier this month, forcing Indian cricketer M S Dhoni to resign as the brand ambassador.

Tagging Dhoni on his twitter handle, many residents asked Dhoni to disassociate himself from the company, while several requested him to pressurise Amrapali group to complete the pending work.

“Noida-based developer in a statement said it has constituted a control desk or help desk to communicate with the customers and help them to resolve their grievances,” reported by PTI.

The help desk has been established for 13 projects including Sapphire.

Taking cue from residents of Amrapali Sapphire project, buyers of other housing projects, being built by Gaursons, Supertech, Unitech and Today Homes & Infrastructure among others, have launched protests on streets as well as social media platforms.
