e-auction of HUDA properties cancelled
The chief administrator has directed officials to cancel all e-auctions of properties of the Haryana Urban Development Authority (Huda) which were scheduled for September and October as there were suspected irregularities in the auctions. The officials were informed that fresh auction of properties would be conducted only after verification of schedule by the chief administrator.
Chief administrator J Ganesan has also directed officials to centralise all the auction of Huda properties. Till now concerned estate officers used to prepare the schedule for auction and then list properties, but henceforth the officers would have to get the schedule and list approved by the the chief administrator before finalising the auction date.
The direction has come at a time when HUDA was planning to increase the frequency of e-auction of its properties. The authority was planning to conduct around 16 e-auctions in short span of 40 days between September 2 to October 7.
