Ellington, Beike to promote Dubai to overseas investors
Ellington, the Dubai-based design-centric lifestyle developer, has signed a partnership with Beike, China’s leading open-platform real estate listings portal. As per the agreement, Beike, which reaches buyers in 300 cities and serves more than 200 million families, will build awareness of Ellington’s premium Dubai real estate offering to Chinese investors.
The agreement was signed at a ceremony in Beijing between Ellington Managing Directors Robert Booth and Joseph Thomas, and Gene Shi, President of International Operations for Beike. With a network of one million agents and 100,000 property branches, the partnership with Beike aligns with the strong growth in business and trade ties between the UAE and China.
Robert Booth said: “Dubai has reported an increase in arrival of Chinese tourists as well as strong bilateral business ties. Given its influence in the Chinese market, Beike is a strong choice for partnership to build awareness of Ellington on the ground in China and to encourage further investment from the Chinese market.
“Dubai is a hub city in China’s Belt and Road Initiative, and Dubai has seen an incredible rise in both tourism and investment from China. In fact, we recently enhanced our systems and launched a new online platform in Mandarin to meet the demands of Chinese investors and customers, who look for premium homes in Dubai.”
Ellington is a customer-focused developer with a growing portfolio of bespoke, aesthetic and high-quality homes, and recently announced that Chinese investors are within its top five customers.
Ellington’s property portfolio is a perfect fit to the requirements of overseas Chinese investors and home-buyers, given their proximity to retail and leisure attractions as well as educational institutions, which is among a prime consideration of Chinese investors. The focus of Ellington on design and build quality in addition to timely delivery add to the appeal of these projects, and the sense of property community Ellington forges, appeals to the aspiring Dubai city dweller.
