Google’s Launchpad and 91springboard to host the first edition of Launchpad Women Founders Summit
91springboard, one of India’s largest co-working communities has partnered with Google Developers Launchpad to host the first-ever Launchpad Women Founders Summit in India. As a part of the initiative, a half-day event will be held at 91springboard hubs on 24th January 2020 in Delhi and 25th January 2020 in Mumbai and Bangalore.
The Launchpad Women Founders Summit has been curated to help Indian women founders in the technology space get startup success training and access to Google’s resources and network. The summit will provide a platform to help women entrepreneurs who are building, plan to build or have built a tech company.
Speaking on the partnership, Pranay Gupta, Co-Founder, 91springboard said, “In India, the number of female founders has been crawling upwards since 2015—it went from 9% that year to 11% in 2017 to 14% in 2018, according to Nasscom. While this is a positive growth trajectory, it’s not nearly good enough. I believe that women are underrepresented in the entrepreneurship ecosystem and we are extremely happy to partner with Google Developers Launchpad for the Launchpad Women Founders Summit. This event will give them an opportunity to connect, engage, and learn from other women entrepreneurs at various stages of their journey.”
The attendees will:
✔ Get access to Google’s resources and network
✔ Be invited to join the Launchpad Women global community
✔ Learn how to build and scale successful products and businesses
✔ Meet other inspiring women from the region and Google’s network
Community engagement is in the DNA of 91springboard. The workspaces create an environment where entrepreneurs and businesses get resources that they can leverage to start, expand and scale their business. With this initiative, Google and 91springboard will provide access to women entrepreneurs to get started with their professional journey with ease and confidence.
