Haryana To Constitute Appellate Tribunal To Hear Complaints Against H-RERA
Haryana Government has decided to constitute an Appellate Tribunal to hear the complaints of allottees against the decision of Haryana Real Estate Regulatory Authority (H-RERA). The office of the Appellate Tribunal would be set up at Karnal.
This was announced by Chief Minister, Manohar Lal while addressing a press conference here on September 13.
The CM said that H-RERA has so far received 842 complaints out of which 209 complaints have already been disposed off. Remaining complaints would also be redressed soon, he asserted.
He said that the State Government has set up Haryana Real Estate Regulatory Authority (H-RERA) to redress the grievances of allottees. Though geographically, Haryana is comparatively a small state, we have set up two separate Authorities- one at Gurugram to exclusively deal with the cases of Gurugram and the second one at Panchkula to deal with the cases of rest of Haryana.
“To ensure the convenience of allottees of both Gurugram and Panchkula, it has been decided to set up the office of Appellate Tribunal at Karnal”, he added.
He said that Haryana is the first State in the country to have set two separate units of H-RERA in the State.
