India Builds World’s Largest Solar Power Plant

India just unveiled the world’s largest solar power plant, constructed in just eight months at Kamuthi in Tamil Nadu. The new plant stretches over four square miles of land and it comes with 648 megawatts of electricity. The solar panel features 2.5 million individual solar modules and can produce enough electricity to power around 150,000 homes. Built by Adani Group the plant is part of revolutionizing the renewable energy ecosystem of India with solar parks, solar power-plants and manufacturing facilities.
