J Kumar Joint Venture Bags Rs. 5,000 Crore

Mumbai based infrastructure company J. Kumar Infraprojects has signed an agreement with the Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation Ltd (MMRC) for Rs 5,012 crore phase-3 city metro works. MMRC issued a letter of authorization (LOA) to J. Kumar – CRTG joint venture.

Details of the letter of authorization encompasses the design and construction of underground sections, including four underground stations at Dharavi, BKC, Vidhyanagari and Santacruz and associated tunnels worth of approximate Rs 2,858 Crore.

The agreement also contains designing and construction of underground sections including Chathrapathi Shivaji International Airport’s (CSIA) domestic and International airport. The associated bored tunnels worth is approximately Rs 2,153 Crore.
