Mumbai realtor arrested for forging documents

A 43-year-old developer was arrested on Saturday for allegedly forging property documents and attempting to usurp a 10,000-sq- foot bungalow in Kalina.

The complainant is a senior citizen, Rock D’Souza, who is in jail for killing his wife. He lodged a complaint from jail, the police said.

AbidaliMustaqTanaji, a Kalina resident, who was arrested for cheating, forgery, breach of trust and theft, has been remanded in police custody said senior inspector of Vakola police station, KailashAvhad.

The police said that they are probing the role of some more persons, including Rock’s elder brother Joseph. The police said that Abidali has leased out the premises to a caterer.
