Mysuru authority makes Aadhaar mandatory for site applicants

Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) is asking applicants to furnish their Aadhaar number in order to curb violations and usher in transparency in the site allotment process. The Aadhaar number will be used to verify if the applicant has already procured or bought a site from another urban local body, or cooperative society or government agency. If MUDA learns that the applicant is already in possession of other property, then his or her application gets automatically rejected. The absence of such a mechanism has previously resulted in MUDA allotting sites to those already owing property.

MUDA have asked aspirants to provide their Aadhaar number along with their application for sites at RT Nagar aslo. The procedure will also be followed for site aspirants at Lalithadripura. Applications without Aadhaar number will not be accepted. It will help MUDA verify the background of the applicants and know their seniority.
