Realty startup Square Yards plans to enhance its employee base by hiring 1,000 more people

Real Estate startup Square Yards plans to increase its employee strength to 3,000 by the end of this year. It plans to hire 1,000 more people, according to a top company official. The company presently employees 2,000 people, out of which around 85% are direct sales workforce. Around 10% of these employees are based in international locations.

Tanuj Shori, Founder & CEO of Square Yards informed media that the company is enhancing its employee base by 10% month-on-month. “Today, we are able to attract and retain top talent from not only real estate but diversified industry verticals such as insurance, telecom and retail,” he said.

With domestic presence in 32 cities, Square Yards has been aggressive in its expansion plans and has opened international offices in Dubai, Singapore, Hong-Kong, London, Sydney, Toronto, Malaysia, etc.

“This rapid expansion spree along with the attractive career acceleration opportunities the company offers to its employees has fuelled its growth tremendously,” Shori said.

The firm’s digital lending and mortgage platform, Square Capital, has facilitated more than Rs 2,000 crores of loan disbursements since its inception two years ago.
