Transcon Developers and The Rotary Club of Mulund Hill View organizes a half marathon run
The Rotary Club of Mulund Hill View in association with Transcon Developers recently organized the 4th edition of Tirumala Habitats Mulund Half Marathon on 24th December 2017. The event was held in the ever-growing suburb of Mulund West and in premises of Tirumala Habitats to support the noble cause of ‘Run for Literacy’. The purpose behind the marathon was to create more awareness in the sphere of education for underprivileged kids.
Tirumala Habitats Mulund Run is a RUN for literacy, a fund raiser project for promoting literacy through both primary education and vocational training. The run being efficiently organized by the Rotary Club of Mulund Hill View with active support received from the young team of rotractors and Joints and Motions team, has facilitated Transcon Developers to sponsor education for about 50 kids annually in the last 4 years, the company said.
Through the Tirumala Habitats half marathon, the organisers have taken the initiative to sponsor the education of 1 kid from kindergarten to standard 10 and complete his/her secondary education level. Through this initiative, they will further continue to spread the cause of literacy and create awareness about the importance of education for needy kids’ and fitness among the masses.
