108 MHADA shops to be on e-auction in July
The Maharashtra Housing and Area Developmental Authority (MHADA) is all set to provide shops to citizens.
The a-auction of 108 shops would be done by MHADA by this July. The interested parties can take part in the auction and can bid for owning the shops. This would also increase the revenues asprevious tender system did not allow for competitive bidding.
The shops being for auction are at Pratiksha Nagar (Sion), Turbe Mandala (Mankhurd),Tunga (Powai),VinobaBhave Nagar (Kurla), Gavanpada (Mulund), Shastri Nagar and Siddharth Nagar (Goregaon), and at Charkop. This help would help housing body to subsidise the flats for people as these shops are located on the ground floors of the MHADA buildings. The last auction was held in 2010, during which 168 shops were sold.
