Bareilly development body seals four under-construction residential building for violating bylaws
The Bareilly Development Authority (BDA) has sealed four under-construction residential premises at different city localities as their owners have not got the layouts of their buildings passed.
On Saturday, BDA officials sealed three premises spread over 175, 270 and 150 square metres in Sanjay Nagar, 100-Foot-road and Narayan colony.
BDA vice chairman Surendra Kumar Pandey told TOI, “Three under-construction residential premises were sealed as their owners were flouting BDA norms by carrying out construction without getting layouts of their buildings approved by the authority.”
According to BDA sources, the owners of the three under-construction buildings have been identified as Gopal Singh, Deepak Sharma and Chandan. The sealing was carried out under section 28 of the Uttar Pradesh Urban Planning and Development Act, 1973.
