Eon Electric Limited (EEL) – one of the leaders in manufacturing a wide range of energy-efficient LED Lighting products – has reached another milestone by bagging a further contract worth around Rs. 40 crore for installing LED streetlights in Rajasthan.

Under this project, Eon will install over 1 lac LED streetlights across various cities in the state, including Jaisalmer, Gangapur, Sri Ganga Nagar, etc. In this phase, Eon Electric will install high lumen (minimum 95 lumen/watts) streetlights to improve road lighting and enhance visibility on the streets.

Elaborating on EON’s achievement, V P Mahendru, Chairman – Eon Electric Limited, said: “Achieving this tender showcases EON’s commitment towards their ever enhancing standards of LED Lights and encourages EON to continue meeting rising customers’ expectations. Our vision has always been to enhance LED Lighting efficiency per watt and provide cities with energy efficient and long life lighting solutions.

“We continue to maintain our focus on quality and consistency in our LED Lighting products, ensuring timely delivery. We wish to thank the authorities in consistency placing their faith in EON for delivering nothing but the best.  Winning this project reaffirms our progressive position in the LED Lighting industry and is a tribute to all our employees and other partners associated with EON, who contributed to the success of our previous project in Jodhpur, he added.
