Maha CM asked bureaucrats to complete all projects

Chief minister Devendra Fadnavis on Saturday asked senior bureaucrats and police officers to draft a plan for completing all pending projects in 2018 and 2019.

“Fadnavis wants ongoing projects to be completed before the 2019 Lok Sabha and assembly polls,” said a bureaucrat. The CM’s OSD, Kaustubh Dhawase, has been tasked with coordinating with all the departments.

The CM’s office had organized the brainstorming session that was attended by developer Satish Magar and social worker Popatrao Pawar.

The performance of roads, housing, water supply, sanitation, home, agriculture, IT and skill developments were reviewed. Principal secretary Ashish Singh made a presentation on roads, additional chief secretary Sanjay Kumar spoke on the status of the Prime Minister Housing Scheme, additional chief secretary Sudhir Shrivastava and DGP Satish Mathur spoke on the home department’s performance. Principal secretary S R Sriniwas made a presentation on recent advances in the IT sector. There was also a presentation on Jal Yukta Shivar.
