MahaRERA the realty regulator went live and began mapping all the development projects registered with it. Using a Geographical Information System (GIS), over 4,000 projects have already been mapped out.

Home buyers just have to click on the project blimp to access the information, including all its certificates, registration number, and location coordinates.

On the MahaRERA website, go to the ‘Registrations’ dropdown and click on ‘Registered Projects’, which will open a separate tab. If you are looking for a particular project, feed in its details, or simply click on ‘View all projects on map’ on the right-hand side of the page. This will take you to the map and you can hover over the project blimps and select the one you are looking for.

Maharashtra has been the leading state in implementation of the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act (RERA) which came into existence on May 1, 2017.
