Raigad MMR to be home to biggest city in the making of Mumbai 3.0
Realty+ present at the Real Estate Business Summit Raigad MMR organized on Thursday, 18th July 2019 by CREDAI MCHI RAIGAD which was attended by about 1000 stake holders from Real Estate fraternity including Channel Partners, developers, architects, planners and business persons. The concept of Mumbai 3.0 version was envisaged which will be one of the biggest city in the making in the entire India spanning about 500 square kilometers area Planning authorities from various organization including MMRDA, MSRDC, MIDC, CIDCO, NAINA, Panvel Municipal Corporation highlighted the various infrastructure initiative being undertaken by them which cumulatively run into Rs 1 Lac Crore.
Realty+ was also witness to the releasing of A white paper by the leading Property Consultants M/s Anarock on Raigad MMR which supports the view that Raigad region of MMR is poised to become the biggest city in India which it’s epicenter in Panvel.
Ateeque Khot, President CREDAI MCHI RAIGAD said that Raigad MMR is one of the few areas in the country where prices have increased despite challenges faced by the housing industry. He added that a great opportunity exists for developers in raigad MMr region for construction of townships and major Greenfield projects. Affordable housing at prices ranging from 15 lac to 55 lac for 1BHK, 25 lac tto 95 lac for 2BHK are available across this entire region for flat buyers to choose. Earlier Raigad MMR area was the most sought after second home destination which has now changed and new flat buyers are booking at Raigad MMR as their first home.
Anuj Puri, Chairman and Founder of M/s Anarock added that Raigad MMR has a tourism hub, Education hub, Commercial developments, industries, warehousing and Logistics Parks as well as Residential developments. He also highlighted that Raigad MMR has one of lowest population density of a mere 368 inhabitants per square kilometer which ensures that there is huge potential for growth is this region. Hence Mumbai 3.0 version will have a 360 degree development which will be boosted by rapid transition from blue collared jobs to white collared jobs. He further said that there is a possibility of a shift in launches from the affordable budget category to mid and luxury segments in the medium term.
