Real estate social responsibility Acts during covid-19
Industry leaders across world are performing social responsibility in one way or another and Indian real estate players are also not behind. While few have paid advance salaries to their employees, some are donating money for hospitals.
Lodha Group has provided advance salaries for the month of March 2020 to all employees from lower to mid management level.
Pune-based Gera Developments is making sure that employees salaries for the month of March and April are paid in full. They are considering a policy for contractor advances to help them tide over the crisis in case the lock down continues for much longer,” said Rohit Gera, managing director of the company.
Dosti Realty is taking precautionary measures for the welfare, nutritional needs and healthcare of the labourers residing at the construction sites of Dosti Realty. Additionally, Dosti Realty has extended a helping hand to the labour segment by providing food to more than 1500 labours across all its construction sites. Besides this, to ensure that all the labourers are currently healthy a temperature scan was conducted to ensure that no one was at risk and will continue to be done until this pandemic is averted.
Tulip Infratech in Gurugram NCR has taken the initiative and performing its Corporate Social Responsibility in terms of providing Food, shelter, Sanitation and Medical facilities to all its site and maintenance workers. All the workers who are staying at site are being well taken care of by Tulip Infratech.
