Amit Srivastava, Head of Business, FS Retail Works Private Limited talks about strengths, working style of his company and future plans

How would you define the industry today?

The industry is going through a correction mode which was required for the betterment of the industry. Another 12 to 18 months will see further correction. We primarily work in the sector which is more evolved i.e. leading hospitality& retail brands and developers. Our clients include L&T, Tata Housing, Armani Casa, Godrej Properties and CPN. I believe that the brokerage business should mandatorily be licensed.

What are your strengths as a broker?

We approach our business in a structured way and all our deals have value addition from our side. The company aim is to forge relationships with clients and to assist even post conclusion of deal. We work with our clients on term sheets and agreements that is part of our value addition and also ensure that we provide all the mandatory and precise records required prior to the finalisation of any deal we enter into.
