Tell us about your company and core competencies?

Present in more than 30 countries, Junckers Industrier A/S is one of Europe’s largest manufacturers of solid hardwood floors and Denmark’s largest timber industry employing more than 450 people worldwide.

The company’s primary goal is to produce top quality products on the basis of an ongoing dialogue with architects, builders, contractors and owners. It is the close collaboration with industry professionals which enables JUNCKERS to maintain its position as Europe’s leading supplier of solid hardwood floors. Since JUNCKERS was founded in 1930, they have supplied more than 100 million m2 of solid wooden flooring to all corners of the world. Most of these floors are still in place, continuing to bring pleasure and satisfaction to their users. But above all, they are delighted to be a part of creating exceptional design solutions in the homes and offices of people with a taste for quality and individual style.

Who are Junkers’ clientele?

Junckers’ clients include renowned celebrities like Sachin Tendulkar, Akshay Kumar, Ritiesh Deshmukh, Suniel Shetty and many more. Besides this, Junckers has been installed at the Prime Minister’s House, Parliament House, North and South Blocks, BSNL and NDMC Buildings in Delhi. In the hospitality sector Junckers has covered JW Marriot both in Bangalore and Mumbai / Le Meriden -New Delhi / Radissons/ Taj Group / ITC Group and many others.

What are the latest products offered by your brand?

1. Oak Collection: The Oak collection by Junckers is a perfect combination of style and comfort which will leave you spellbound while adding to your décor. The collection is available in Oak Avenida, Oak Boulevard, Nordic Oak, Nordic Oak Boulevard, Black Oak, Black Oak, & Black Oak Boulevard species which are splendid because of their warmth, expression & strength. The beautiful hues will provide unflustered weight to any space and at the same time simply carry the room. These are available in thickness of 20.5 mm in single plank in various width measurements & price commencing at Rs. 700 per square foot.

2. Beech Sylvared Collection: The Beech Sylvared collection is especially exotic wood species which have a warm reddish colour that is high in demand in the market. Junckers has created a process where beech – a wood species which is available in very large quantities. This species has been vacuum stained to achieve a rich reddish shade throughout the floorboard. It appears as an interesting and noble alternative to the limited volumes of the exotic wood species. These are available in thickness of14mm and 22mm in two plank in various width measurements & price commencing at Rs.650 per square foot. What are the market trends for 2016?

2016 will be an interesting year for Flooring. 2016 will be pulling trends and colour palettes from European runway shows and combining them with festive Latin revivals has certainly create an eclectic look in flooring trends. Throwing most of last year’s 2015 trends out of the window, 2016 is giving as a fresh new approach to flooring design and trends.
