In an exclusive interview with Amarjit Bakshi, Founder & MD, Central Park, who won Scroll of Honour Award from Realty Plus

How does it feel to receive the scroll of honour from Realty Plus?

Getting facilitated by such a prestigious publication is always an incredible feeling. I feel privileged and extremely happy to hold this award. Real Estate Industry needs motivation both from government and media right now. This tread by Realty Plus is highly appreciated and my team is totally geared up after this honor for working harder and making our work better than the rest.

What are your strengths?

Central Park has always been a company of formulating its on pathways rather than following what others have already created. We have been the first one to open the gateways for Sohna Road as a new housing destination. Unlike other developers, we have been successful in delivering exactly what we promise or may be more than that.

How do you drive and motivate your team?

Central Park’s team is the main force behind its success. We make sure that maximum opportunities are given to the employees for not just professional growth but personal growth as well. All an employee expects is to be given due respect and credit of their work which we do religiously. Every decision I take is after suggestions from my team. We also make sure that there are especially organized dinner, lunches and parties for teams and their families to keep the motivated for upcoming work.

What has been the turning point of your career?

Starting Central Park at Golf course road which was the first upmarket luxury condominium and getting the huge response for it.

What is the USP of your company?

We believe in being the best in all our endeavours and we focus on quality rather than quantity. Our Company follows the strategy of giving the highest standard of customer service even to the extent of delivering 3 newspapers to residents of 3 bhk and 4 newspapers to residents of 4 bhk, first thing in the morning before others get it in Gurgaon. There is a huge launderette to cater to 1800 families, car wash facility, housekeeping services, cycling, pet hotel, conservatory among other luxury services. In our organisation employees are empowered and idea creation happens with frequent brain storming sessions. The global practices are followed and architecture inspirations are drawn from nature and to make environment the better place for example tunnel is created as an afterthought to conserve the environment as no vehicles are allowed on surface to control the air and noise pollution.

What is the advice you would like to give to upcoming and young developers?

The message to new generation entrepreneurs is to hold on the core values of entrepreneurship which are hardwork and perseverance. It will surely lead you to path of success in the end. Delivering the best to the consumer will bring their trust and investment in return for you. Treat the consumer as your god and let them bless you with the best.
